Another easy run at lunchtime today. The weather's not been great the past few days but it was only a very light drizzle when I ran so that's not too bad.

I'm not running tomorrow but will be doing my Braes run on Sunday morning with John McL. He enjoyed it so much last week he's back for more! I'll take him the other way round this time to add a bit of variety!

Tomorrow night we are going to Neal's farewell do in Glasgow. It will be good to catch up with friends and wish Neal all the best as he heads off for the Navy on the 15th November.

Not much more to say as I need to get back to my novel. Another 1,000 words or so to write tonight to stay a day ahead of the game. It feels a bit like when I set myself a certain mileage to do over a month. I like to keep just ahead of the plan so if anything happens I'm not having to play catch up.

The first week has been more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Whether anyone would ever want to read it is another matter but I'm having a good time writing it!!
